WalletPicks exists to answer one question honestly: which wallet should you actually trust with your money? We buy every wallet, test it against one standard, and rank on merit alone.
Why we exist
Most "best wallet" lists are ranked by who pays the most, not by what protects your money best. A wallet is one of the few things you own where a bad recommendation can cost you everything at once, so we hold it to a higher bar.
We are modelled on the old idea of an assay office: an independent house that tests and marks, and whose mark means something precisely because it cannot be bought. Every wallet on this site is purchased at our own cost, lived with for a week, and scored on the same fixed forty-point standard.
Who runs WalletPicks
WalletPicks is independently owned and operated from Serbia. It is not backed by a wallet maker, an exchange, or a retailer, and no outside company has a say in what we publish.
Reviews are written by the walletpicks desk from hands-on testing. We care about the work being verifiable rather than about personal bylines, so what stands behind each review is the fixed standard and the sources we cite, not a marketing persona.
How we make money
The site is reader-supported. Some links are affiliate links, and if you buy through one we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That revenue funds the wallets we buy and the time it takes to test them.
It never changes a score, a ranking, or the order of a list, and it is always disclosed. You can read exactly how this works in our affiliate disclosure. Because we buy every wallet ourselves, no maker has a hold over what we write.
How we test
Every wallet is set up from the sealed box, funded or loaded with real cards and cash, and carried through daily life before it earns a mark. Claims about security or a breach are checked against primary sources, and where we are uncertain, we say so. The full rubric is set out in our standard.
Corrections
Prices, features and firmware change, and we sometimes get things wrong. If you spot an error, tell us and we will fix it. Accuracy matters more to us than being seen to be right, and every correction we receive makes the register better.
